I’m completely ready for my baby to be born, which feels wonderful.
I’ve mentally prepared myself for the home birth, and I feel physically prepared as well. I’ve even gone beyond how domestically prepared I was for Fae’s home birth.
All through my pregnancy I would tell Fae that her baby brother would be born in the spring. Well, the birds outside are happily chaotic, the air is getting warm, and we can finally dress lighter. We’re ready.
Fae is running around in her training pants covered by a thin wool soaker that I made her to use as a cover. She’s playing hard–super excited and loud.
